INNOVATIVE ENGINEERING SOLUTIONS TAILORED TO YOUR NEEDS

Collaboration with our clients is crucial to creating innovative design engineering solutions that meet your specific needs.

With our infrastructure, capabilities, and resources, we have everything you need to design your custom metal parts and complex industrial equipment. We handle all parts manufacturing processes in-house, at our welding shop in La Sarre, Abitibi-Témiscamingue. During the design phase, we can test our concepts using real-world prototypes. Your advantage: increased production flexibility, optimal quality control, and personalized support.

A FLEXIBLE AND INNOVATIVE TEAM OF EXPERTS

Our genuine commitment to providing you with optimized solutions is supported by our extensive expertise, which includes:

– Certification of plans and specifications

– 3D modeling with Autodesk Inventor

– Design and certification of lifting equipment

– Welding engineering in steel, stainless steel and aluminum for superior quality repairs

REVERSE ENGINEERING (IMPROVEMENT BASED ON SYSTEMIC ANALYSIS)

Your parts and equipment always break down in the same place, and you can't find the equipment that meets your needs? No problem! Métal Marquis offers reverse engineering services for custom steel parts. We understand how your metal part is designed, and we don't just reproduce it, we modify and improve it!

FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS (STATIC AND DYNAMIC)

When the situation is too complex and basic calculations cannot verify everything, our engineering team can perform a static and dynamic analysis of the metal part.

With virtual prototyping , our experts eliminate the trial-and-error approach. You'll save time and money!

PORTABLE ANALYSIS OF METALS (STEEL, STAINLESS STEEL, CAST IRON AND ALUMINUM) BY SPECTROMETRY

Using our spectrometer, our experts can determine the chemical composition of the materials (steels, stainless steels, cast irons, and aluminum) in your industrial parts and equipment; we can precisely identify their grade when it is unknown. If no material is known, we have the necessary metallurgical expertise to recognize the chemical elements that influence weldability or require special treatment.

We use spectrometry primarily for:

– Choosing the appropriate filler materials and welding types (especially when combining spectrometry with a hardness test to determine the presence of heat treatment);

– Validate the conformity of a certified factory test report ( Mill test report ) associated with a piece of equipment.
